2010 Presentation Night
This year the club will be holding 3 separate Presentations for the awarding of team trophies and awards. These will take part on the Friday the 14th and 21st May at the British Legion and on the 22nd May at Herne Football Pitches. Team managers will be contacting their teams shortly with further details.

2010 Parents Vs Coaches Match
The ever popular Parents v Coaches Match will be taking place on Saturday 22nd May 2010 at Briary at 2pm. Any parents who want to play in the game must either contact Shane Sargeant on 01227 365316  or contact their own team manager who can pass your details on. Shane is running the parents team and needs to know playing numbers in advance rather than parents just turning up on the day.
Please note the coaches team will only consist of team managers and coaches who regularly coach one of the teams and will be looking to retain the cup for the 5th year running. Coaches wishing to play, who haven't already done so, please contact Paul I.    We hope to see as many of you as possible on the day.

Congratulations to the Under 10s who have finished Runners Up in Div2, scoring 116 goals throughout the season.
The Under 16s have finished Runners Up in The East Youth Kent Leage Div 1. Congratulations to the team for another successful season in the top division.

Harriers On Tour
The Under 13s are off to France over the weekend of 11/13th June playing in the St Omer International Tournament.  The 32 team tournament is played in The St Omer Stadium and attracts teams from France, Italy, Germany, Holland and Belgium. We wish the team a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Nick Hope since joining the club 4 seasons ago has now reached the milestone of a century of goals for the Herne Bay Harriers; in fact his total to date is 111. This season alone he has secured 29 but managed to surpass 50 during our league winning season last year. This is testament to his dogged determination and great team support to help him create these chances. In recognizing Nick’s efforts we also understand that without the 10 souls behind him he would never have achieved this tremendous milestone. So well done my under 14’s team and Nick for achieving this feat, and long may it continue.

Harriers at Wembley
200 players and parents from local football club Herne Bay Harriers went to Wembley to see the England v Portugal U21s Euro 2011 qualifier. As an F.A. Charter Club since 2004, the club took full advantage of some complimentary tickets given to them by the Football Association and  4 packed coaches left a very wet and windy Herne Bay at 8.30 in the morning. In a noisy and enthusiastic crowd of 33,000 it was the first time many of the players had been to the new Wembley. With everyone sitting together behind one of the goals, England scored the only goal of the game to win 1 - 0 and send the crowd home happy.
Harriers Club Secretary Paul Ireton said "We had players from 7yrs to 16yrs, as well as parents and grandparents so it was a great day. The atmosphere and experience of going to the most famous football stadium in the world was fantastic for our youngsters. All the players were a credit to their team managers and it was a wonderful occasion for the whole club". Also full credit must be given to the F.A. for getting our young grassroots players to support England at the national stadium".
