Herne Bay Harriers 1 Ramsgate Youth 0

After a disappointing defeat the week before Harriers were in danger of starting this game with low confidence, however that was not the case and proved it by starting the game with an immediate attack.

The first 10 minutes produced a very even game with both sides having an equal amount of chances.

The match continued in this manner but around the 20 minute mark a well placed pass from midfield through the Ramsgate defence saw captain S. Lee run on and with great persistence chipped it over the Ramsgate goal keeper for his first goal of the season.

The first half continued with the Harriers creating more chances but were denied by there opponents goal keeping.

The second half kicked off and the Harriers started as they had finished the first, with the midfield and strikers linking up well to create a number of chances on goal but just could not find the back of the net for there second.

The Harriers kept a clean sheet in this tough match through some solid defending from B. Austin and J. Mount and an outstanding performance from goal keeper J. King.

A well deserved 3 points and an superb attitude and performance from all the players,

WELL done Harriers.
