From the minute the whistle blew to start the game the
players where right up for it, this showed by testing the Thanet goal keeper
early with a number of shots but where well saved.
This continued through out the first half with the
Harriers creating lots of chances but just lacked the final finish.
Harriers continued the pressure in the second half and
finally got there reward after J. Inglis slid an inch perfect pass through to
C. Bennett who then controlled it well before running on to slot it past the
goal keeper with his left foot.
To Thanet's credit they then went on the attack with a
few attempts on goal which where well saved by our very own goal keeper J.
King.
With a quickly taken goal kick the players passed it
through their midfield to which J. Inglis then took control by running with
the ball and blasting it into the back of the net for the second.
A great all round performance by all the players, WELL
done lads.
