Herne Bay Harriers started this game knowing they were
playing the top of the league team Tyler Hill but did not let this phase them
by starting very positively.
The game itself was a well fought out battle with both
teams showing their strengths.
Tyler Hill scored first with a well worked goal on about
15 minutes into the game, this was cancelled out 5 minutes later with yet
another superb volley from I. Laughton who connected with the ball just inside
the half way line.
Tyler Hill then applied pressure on the Harriers defence
and were rewarded with 2 goals just before half time.
Harriers then started the second half with an attacking
attitude, knowing they had to score to pull themselves back into the game.
Both teams created chances but were denied by some great
defending and outstanding goalkeeping.
A very enjoyable and entertaining game to watch, well
done to all the players involved.
