Herne Bay Harriers 5 Kennington 4

Having lost 3 - 1 to the same side last weekend, Harriers Under 11s knew they were in for a hard game.

Harriers started strongly and took the lead when K. Bleau finished well after good work down the left .

C. Hammond then doubled the lead with a good turn and left footed shot inside the box.

Kennington pulled one back but Harriers regained their two goal advantage after S. Rose put pressure on their last defender to enable T. Ireton  to smash in an unstoppable shot from close range.

Kennington however pulled another back themselves to make it 3 - 2 at half time.

Kennington equalised early in the second half and then took the lead for the first time in the game.

Harriers were not to be beaten however and K. Bleau got his second after beating his man down the left and finishing in style.

A. Orr then went close after their keeper made a save from his left footed shot.

With five minutes remaining K. Bleau again lost his marker to fire the winner from 20 yards to complete his hatrick and give Harriers the 3 points.
