Ashford Borough 1 Herne Bay Harriers 5

Herne Bay Harriers Under 11s were comfortable 5-1 winners in their Division 2 clash with Ashford Borough at Briary on Sunday.

Harriers started the stronger and went 1 - 0 up when a S. Harding corner was turned into Ashfords net by their own defender.

Shortly afterwards another Harding corner was despatched neatly away by C. Hammond to double Harriers lead at half time.

After the break S. Harding made it 3 - 0 before K. Ayles made it 4-0 from the spot after a handball.

Ashford pulled one back before B. Waite fired in from 10 yards to secure another 3 points.

A solid team performance from all players with B. Waite taking the  Harriers Man of The Match for his commanding performance in the centre of Harriers defence.
