Herne Bay Harriers Under 11s picked up all three points on Sunday with a convincing win against Thanet Colts.

The first half saw the teams all square sharing an 8 goal evenly fought half.

Harriers got off to a good start when T. Ireton fired them into the lead and further goals from C . Hammond, a 20 yard finish from K. Ayles and a second for Ireton made for an interesting second half.

Harriers came out fighting and dominated throughout playing some fine football.

B Waite marshalled the Harriers defence which were untroubled by the Thanet attack.

Harriers play was rewarded with five further goals.

A. Orr on as a second half substitute bagged two, with S. Harding, K. Bleau and H. Lee completing the Harriers scoring.

Harriers Man of the Match went to H. Lee who also celebrated the game with his first goal for the club.
