Top of the table clash sees the share of the spoils.

Herne Bay Harriers Colts were well below their usual standards that they have set themselves.

Harriers had endless chances to easily finish of Faversham Strike Force but they could not convert any of them.

Every single shot Harriers had apart from Mercer (The Maestro) was what you would only describe as back passes to the opposition goal keeper.

So it wasn't a surprise when a Strike Force midfielder ran with the ball from midfield and into the box and scored to make it 0-1 at half time.

After the restart got underway and Harriers started to take the game a bit more serious, some good passing left A. Taylor in a heap and Harriers were rewarded a free kick about 35 yards out from the Strike Force goal.

J. Mercer struck the ball beautifully and saw the ball rifle into the top left hand corner of the net to equal the score line.

The Colts still pushed for another opening but couldn't get the winner they deserved.
