Herne Bay Harriers senior team were beaten 5 – 2 by local rivals Herne Bay Youth in their Division one clash at the Cherry Orchard.

The Harriers defensive frailties were exposed in the first half as Youth went in leading 4 – 0 at half time.

Early in the second half indecision in the Harriers defence again allow Youth to score, which put the game beyond the Harriers.

Goals from J. Putnam and D. Marsden gave some credibly to the score at the final whistle.
