Herne Bay Harriers 4 Hugin Vikings 1

Herne Bay Harriers Senior Team convincingly beat Hugin Vikings 4 – 1 at the Memorial Park in Herne Bay.

The visitors put up little resistance and took the lead, against the run of play with their only shot of the match, thereafter it was one way traffic.

The scores were level when S. Turner equalised after good approach play by B. Sargeant in the centre of the mid-field.

The Harriers took the lead minutes later from a well worked corner which was headed in at the far post by D. Chamberlain.

In the second half the Harries dominated the game making the Vikings keeper work hard to keep the score respectable.

Eventually the pressure paid and the Harriers secured the three points with goals from L. Senft and J. Bishop.
