Centre Forward Nick
Hope started this year’s campaign with a stunning 7 goals in the
opening game of the season against Hugin Vikings C on 14th September
2008. Having scored within the first 30 seconds through sheer
determination and commitment Nick was unstoppable throughout the game
and went on to score a marvellous double hatrick..fantastic performance
and team inspiring. |

Well done Charlie Lilley for netting a hatrick in
the Harriers Under 14s 4 - 3 victory over Folkestone Cantera on 14th

For the first time
playing for the Under 13s team, on 28th September 2008 against St
Margarets, Captain Matt Wakerley scored a fabulous hatrick that
ensured that we won the game convincingly. Well done |

Having being robbed of a
hatrick by some questionable decisions in the first game of the season
Mike Monks went on the prove his worth by scoring 3 excellent
goals in the second Under 13s game against St Margarets on 28th
September 2008. His tally could have been at least 10 if the goal posts
were 6” wider but for now 3 will do. Well done. |

For the second week in
succession Nick Hope scored a hatrick, this time his total tally
was 4 goals but could have been so many more in the Under 13s 18 -1 win
against St Margarets on 28th September 2008. He was moved out of the
centre forward position to allow others a chance to score otherwise his
tally would have doubled. Another stunning committed performance. Well
Done. |

To add to his hatrick the previous weekend
Mike Monks scored probably the quickest hatrick in the clubs
history, within 6 minutes from the whistle. He went on to score a
further 3 goals to complete his double hatrick. Mike also assisted in
several other goals to complete his faultless performance during the
game. Great Job |

After scoring a penalty early on Matt
Wakerly went on to secure his hatrick by the half time whistle. He
added a further 2 goals but more importantly played a captains
performance throughout the match with some stunning control and passing
to help the team secure its best ever win. Great Stuff mate. |

You can run out of superlatives when
describing Nick Hopes performances week in and week out. Having
scored 6 great goals in the first half, most of which were self created
from half chances and buckets of determination he went on to score a
total of 7,he also created chances for his team mates to also get their
names on the score sheet. A stunning performance once again and
instrumental in inspiring the team to play with such confidence.
Congratulations on your third consecutive hatrick performance and let’s
hope the form continues over the next few weeks when we have tougher
games. |

With a massive thanks to Larry Fagg for a
record turnaround on his registration , Rob Taylor went on to
score a magnificent hatrick on his debut. Having started as sub he came
on and scored 2 goals early on and had a third disallowed. He finally
nailed his third and secured a debut hatrick. He also won the man of the
match medal for giving such a great debut after only being with the
squad for 2 weeks. Great things are expected from this kid for the
future. Well done. |

Congratulations Alex Taylor for a
superb hatrick in the Under 10 Colts 5 - 2 win against Betteshanger on
19th October 2008. |

For the fourth time this
season Nick Hope secured his hatrick within the first 15 minutes
of the game. 3 super strikes so early on ensured that the game was
beyond the reach of Great Chart. His final tally was 5 but this could
have doubled so easily if it wasn’t for a very flag happy linesman. This
brings his total for the season so far to a team inspiring 27. Well done
mate. |

Nick Hope led from the
front yet again and secured his 5th Hatrick of the season in
the Harriers 5 - 3 win over Division 1 side Dover Rangers on 16th
November 2008 to help win the team a quarter final spot in the cup this
season. Another stunning performance from the man who can’t stop
scoring. Long may it continue, Well done mate. |
