Our first away game was against a side who had performed well in the summer tournaments.

Again the opponents were physical but fair.

We dominated the match early on with some impressive football and deservedly found ourselves with a 2 - 0 advantage.

We wasted several good chances to put ourselves in a stronger position and this was to our cost.

St Margaret’s battled for every ball for the whole match and in the second half were creating chances as a result.

Three weak goals saw us behind, but still very much in the match as they were struggling to contain us when we attacked.

We just could not find the accuracy in front of goal. At the end of what was an even match, the result was a little harsh, but we are still on the learning curve of how to deal with this type of football.
