After no competitive game since 15^th November this looked a difficult opening game against an in form Thanet.

After a slow start we took control of the game and dominated the play.

Opening the scoring and then increasing our lead saw Thanet become more physical, but full credit to the players who stood up to the task without flinching.

Going in 4-0 at halftime was nothing more than we deserved.

The second half was more even and a misunderstanding allowed Thanet to pull a goal back.

Although we run out of steam towards the end, we never looked like not getting maximum points.
