Herne Bay Harriers 6 Dynamo United 1

The Under 13s finished the season with a comfortable win against Dynamo F.C.

Harriers started the stronger and it was little surprise when Kieran Bleau gave Harriers the lead after some good work down the left.

Ryan Lee then put Tom Ireton through who raced away from the defenders to slip the ball into the far corner. The same two players then combined with Tom playing Ryan through who finished superbly well from 18 yards into the top right hand corner.   3-0 at halftime.

The second half saw more goals, a short corner between Kieran Bleau and Charlie Hammond was met by Ryan's head for his second.  Then skipper, Hammond fired home from 22 yards from a direct free kick, giving their keeper no chance and then Kieran Bleau turned quickly in the box to get his second and Harriers 6th.

Dynamo got a consolation themselves late on.

The defence held firm throughout, one tackle in particular by Chas Dadswell in the penalty box stands out, and Calvins Saward when needed showed what a very quick player he is.

With Harry Darling and Harry Parker contributing well and Andrew Orr playing solid throughout plus another good game for Kieron Laughton now playing in his best position in the middle of the park.  A mention too for Henry Lee, one of the teams best defenders this season , who today had to fill in as goalkeeper. Henry, although no novice in goal played very well and was most assured.

And finally to the Harriers MOM today who was Luke Loxston. Luke followed up his very good game in midweek against Margate with another good solid game and he  thoroughly deserved the MOM in our last league game.

A special thanks to Darren for reffing the game for us again, and finally to all the U13s parents for their continued support of the team throughout the season.
