Harriers Under 13s kept in contention for a top two finish in Div 4 with a with a great team performance with a  7 - 1 win at  Highfield.

The U13s needed 3 pts today and they set out with a good attitude and  this was quite evident when  Henry Lee made a superb last ditch tackle in the box early on.

The defence of Ben , Chas, Harry D, and Henry were solid and the midfield four  began to take control and Harriers took a deserved lead  when Kieran Bleau latched onto a Kieran Laughton through ball and finished in style. Some good passing between Andrew, Ryan  Charle and Kieron were finding  Tom and Kieran upfront and some great crosses and play meant it  was therefore no surprise when the U13s extended their lead before half time when Tom Ireton found himself one on one with the keeper and he curled his shot into the far corner to make it 2-0.

The U13s made it three early in the second half when Calvin Saward's great through ball put  Tom free again and he beat the keeper to make it 3-0 .   Tom got his Hatrick  when Charlie Hammond put him clear yet again and Tom, full of confidence , finished well.

Highfield made it 4-1 with a great strike from 30yrds, but Harriers weren't finished yet and a Ryan Lee superb run and finish made it 5 before Tom got his 4th with a delicate lob.  Skipper Charlie Hammond rounded off a good afternoon for the boys , making it 7 from the penalty spot.

The whole team played their part today, with Luke and Harry P doing well in the second half and Allan as always a safe custodian in goal.
