Herne Bay Harriers 7 Canterbury Eagles 1
Following a minutes silence on Remembrance Sunday this was a seasons best performance from a team that grows in confidence each week which resulted in a convincing win.
Harriers took the lead after 5 minutes but a rare defensive error let Canterbury back in almost immediately.
Harriers then piled on the pressure eventually going into the break with a 2 goal lead.
Harriers came out even stronger in the second half and took total control of the game with the ball very rarely entering the Harriers half.
Man of the match Luke Walden along with Captain Matt Wakerly and George Darling controlled the midfield the entire game and were all rewarded with goals.
Nick Hope was back to his best and completed his hatrick.
This was the best game seen by this team so far this season, technical and tactical.
With some new additions arriving to the squad in the next couple of weeks great things are expected from this team this year.
