After being beaten earlier in the season by this team, Harriers sought their revenge at weekend with a one sided convincing win.

Within 5 minutes Harriers took the lead with an early goal from Nick Hope and kept the pressure on to eventually go into half time with a 5 goal lead.

The second half was played in the same manner with pressure being applied by the midfield which brought many chances most of which were taken.

Nick Hope eventually went on to secure 5 goals in the game but could have had a few more if he wasn’t so selfless, Mike Monks, George Darling and Josh Luck also scored.

Eythorne’s consolation goal eventually coming from a well taken free kick, apart from this our goalie Alex Busby barely touched the ball all day.

Alex showed great leadership in organizing his defence and this paid off with solid performances from Nick (Vanistol) Roy, Ashley Barton, Lewis (Jedward) Pressley, Danny Judge in a new role at left back and Herbie Fieldwick.

Matt Wakerley, Josh Luck & George Darling controlled and dominated the central midfield and used the wider players wisely which created so much space for Nick Hope and Luke Walden.  Mike Monks and Brad Lewis showed great individual skills and their communication was superb all game.

This was a fantastic team performance and after a few difficult weeks this was a great return to form and excellent way to finish the season.
