Billy Surbey struck first when he reacted quickest in the Faversham box to tap in from close range. The Harriers never looked back, Luke Davis-Martine who was accomplished in the centre of the Harriers midfield grabbed the next finishing from the edge of the box. Ryan Kingsford then crossed for Lewis Quinney to continue his good form with the next.
The Harriers were creating plenty of chances but not taking them, Joe Evenden then returned the keepers kick but missed the goal by inches. Ryan Kingsford got the fourth when he beat a Faversham defender and finished from outside the box.
The second half began with Faversham changing there goalkeeper, who now was able to kick the ball from one end to the other. This didn’t stop the Harriers going forward and Callum Wyles was as cool as ever in dealing with the keeper’s big kicks. Luke Davis-Martine then created a goal scoring opportunity that Morgan May was able to place coolly into the net.
Faversham then scored as the Harriers defence was unable to deal with one of the big kicks from the keeper. Billy Surbey then grabbed his second of the game when he cut back and found the bottom corner of the net from the edge of the box. Jack Masters went on a mazy run down the wing but was unable to finish off his good work. Cameron Hayward was quickest to react after Billy Surbey’s shot was saved by the Faversham keeper.
The Faversham keeper then scored himself as the ball bounced over Jamie Kemp in the Harriers goal, but as the game drew to a close Jamie Kemp was determined to make amends and made a great double save from the Faversham striker.
The game finished 7-2 to the Harriers who played well but with some better finishing could have scored a few more!!!!
