Herne Bay Harriers 'A' 8 Teynham Gunners 0

In this re-arranged fixture the Harriers started brightly, but it was Teynham who created the first chance with Jamie Kemp pushing the ball around for a corner.

The Harriers then took the lead with an individual effort from Ryan Kingsford who cut in from the right to finish.

It was Ryan Kingsford again who made it 2 nil with a left foot finish.

Good defensive work from Jack Masters who seemed to be everywhere, kept the score at 2 nil.

A great team effort with a four player four pass move which allowed Billy Surbey to finish with a cool tap in.

Joe Evenden shot from the half way line which was tipped around the post by the Teynham goalkeeper.

As the half grew to a close Luke Davis-Martine had a shot hand-balled on the line, he stepped up to take the penalty which was tipped over by the keeper.

The second half began in the same way with the Harriers keeping there foot on the gas. It took at least 10 minutes before the Harriers struck again with Lewis Quinney finishing from just inside the box. Lewis Quinney then added another with a smartly taken through ball.

A great one two between Lewis Quinney and Luke Davis-Martine allowed Luke to coolly place the ball into the bottom corner. As the Harriers pressed forward it allowed Teynham to counter attack, but Callum Wyles stood strong in defence to keep the clean sheet. Ryan Kingsford put in a low cross but Morgan May could only put it just wide.

As the game drew to a close, Lewis Quinney grabbed his hat-trick with a great left foot finish on the half volley from the edge of the box. Ryan Kingsford run through the middle unchallenged to finish and get his hat-trick too.

A great team performance!!!
