Teynham Gunners 0 Herne Bay Harriers 'A' 1

The Harriers went into this game in good form and with Teynham struggling were looking for goals. The Harriers started well with Morgan May driving down the right only for his cross to be cut out at the front post. It was Teynham who had the first real chance but Jamie Kemp in the Harriers goal made a good save low down.

The Harriers pushed forward and Lewis Quinney put a shot just wide. Joe Evenden played the ball forward to Luke Davies-Martine but his shot was tipped over by the Teynham keeper. It was mid way through the first half when Ryan Kingsford came off the bench to beat two defenders and slot the ball into the corner of the goal. The last chance of the half fell to Callum Wyles who blasted just over from the edge of the box.

The second half began with the Harriers creating chances Luke Davies Martine had a shot saved by the keeper. Ryan Kingsford crossed but Lewis Quinney was unable to connect. Cameron Hayward had the ball taken off his toe by the Teynham keeper when he was certain to score.

As the second half drew on Teynham pushed forward but Jack Masters was as cool as ever when dealing with the danger. Ryan Kingsford then created himself a good chance but hit the side netting.
